Another ugly day, but not as hot, just very humid. Went for a bike ride about 8:15 in the morning. Went further than I ever have this morning. Got up to the 9 mile marker. The trail South of me is very secluded, but it blocks a lot of the wind and keeps you in the shade most of the time. Not much else going on. Went to my mothers last night for her 81st birthday. All the siblings pitched in and bought her a lap top. Poor Johnny is stuck helping her learn. This is going to be fun.
I love the trail going south. We did a bike ride to symerton, about 14 miles round trip, last spring. There is a bar there that we stopped for some drinks. Pretty neat. Ur goal should be to go all the way to the Kankakee river on that trail. I'll do it with u, always wanted to try to make it there. It's the way home that is a bitch. We'll have to do it in the fall, could even bring a pole and go fishing!! Keep it up dad! Jill
